The foundation of Kentucky Bison Co. is based on the production, preservation, and promotion of the Authentic American Buffalo^TM. Our mission is to operate a buffalo farm and meat processing plant that will provide success through the production of livestock and processing, a comfortable standard of living for our employees, and a positive, happy work environment where there is room for advancement and personal growth.

We proudly raise our buffalo on Woodland Farm in Goshen, KY without the use of steroids, stimulants, or sub-therapeutic antibiotics. As a fully integrated operation our buffalo are processed at our own USDA approved facility. Our herd includes several award winning buffalo from top shows and sales in the United States as well as Canada. From the Canadian National Bison Show and Sale in Regina, Saskatchewan we purchased Molson, a spectacular bull placing 2nd in the "Two Year Old Bull" class. From the Gold Trophy Show and Sale in Denver, CO we purchased two of our most outstanding bulls: Kentucky Golden Byrd (Grand Champion, "Two Year Old Bull") and Silver Lightning (2nd place, "Bull Calf"). We pride ourselves on breeding strong, healthy animals with sound characteristics and good disposition. We continually strive to build the strongest herd we can to better the life of our buffalo and ensure our buffalo meat products are of the highest quality.
